Established in 1979, GCBHS is a private, non-profit agency providing comprehensive outpatient and crisis response services to persons of all ages in Muskogee and McIntosh Counties. Services are confidential, effective, and easily accessible. We have several locations within Muskogee County and our McIntosh county office is located in Checotah, Oklahoma.

In 2019 GCBHS became a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). CCBHC’s make it possible for people to receive timely and high-quality behavioral health treatment, as well as primary care screening and monitoring. Our agency’s commitment is to provide quality, evidence-based coordinated care. CCBHC’s are facilities specifically designed to provide a community with an all-inclusive range of substance use and mental health disorder services, whose staff are specifically trained to work with individuals who have the most complex and chronic needs.

We serve individuals with any combination of health issues, including mental health disorders, drug addiction, and adverse medical conditions. We offer crisis intervention, mobile crisis response, and community-based crisis stabilization. We accept Sooner Care, private insurance and private pay. We are also proud to be a Certified Healthy Business.

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay, and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
